I. HERRING-GOODSON: The Story of Purpose –

It all begins with an idea.

A Prepared Awakening of the Phoenix Through Water.

In the beginning, I knew—before the world could shape me, when I only had just a name, I was born with the knowing that I wasn’t like everyone else. Not in a way that makes you just stand out in the crowd or that the world tells you to chase—but the kind that only you can feel, deep inside.  Like current that runs through me, a sense of purpose I could never explain it, but something of a force pulling me forward, something much bigger than myself.

A knowing that calls to you in the quiet moments, urging you to rise above the noise, the expectations, the limitations. It’s the kind of knowing that makes you ask: Who am I, really? and What was I meant to do with this life?

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
